The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith, doctrine, and conduct. In all matters, we ultimately defer to the wisdom and instruction of Scripture.

2 Timothy 3:16–17

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is God. He has always been God and will always be God. He is the only way to the Father and the only source of salvation and eternal life.

John 8:58; John 14:6

Christ’s Sinless Life and Atoning Death

We believe Jesus lived a completely holy and sinless life. Because He was without sin, He became the perfect sacrifice for our sins, taking our place and reconciling us to God.

1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21

 Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our works. Good works do not produce salvation; they flow from a life that has been saved and transformed by God.

Ephesians 2:8–9; John 1:12

Christ’s Bodily Resurrection

We believe Jesus literally died and literally rose from the dead in bodily form on the third day. His resurrection is an actual historical event and essential to the Christian faith.

1 Corinthians 15:12–19

Christ’s Ascension and Return

We believe Jesus ascended bodily into Heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will return again.

Acts 1:9–11; 1 Peter 3:22

Heaven and Hell

We believe in a literal, eternal Heaven and a literal, eternal Hell. Eternal life is found in Christ alone, and every person will ultimately stand before God.

Sin and Holiness

We believe God is holy and that He—not culture—is the standard of righteousness. What Scripture calls sin, we call sin. Yet the gospel offers cleansing, forgiveness, transformation, and new life to everyone who comes to Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:9–11

The Godhead

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is God, Jesus is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. These three are distinct, yet they are one God.

Matthew 3:16–17

The Holy Spirit and His Gifts

We believe the gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit remain active today. We are unapologetically charismatic in both doctrine and ministry.

We reject emotional hype and irreverence, but we equally reject any attempt to stifle the Holy Spirit because His work makes people uncomfortable. We welcome His presence, His power, His gifts, and His sovereign movement among His people.
